Grace Church is fun, growing, diverse church just south of Boston. We are an 11 years old church planting church. We've planted 4 churches out of ours and are going multi-site!! The primary purpose of the Worship Director at Grace Church is to develop a growing and healthy ministry team capable of providing an inviting and engaging worship atmosphere that encourages group participation in corporate and personal worship. The worship director must always be identifying, inviting, mentoring and empowering others with significant responsibilities. They must serve not solely as a musical director but also as a shepherd to the people who serve in this ministry. Skills : Provide pastoral care for all worship team members Be able to wisely managing budgets, including provide monthly reports Regularly cast vision to team members Be able to problem solve Be able to develop and mentor/apprentice other leaders Train, support and disciple those involved in the worship ministry. Be familiar with ProPresentor, Planning Center Be familiar with Ableton Live, in order to make click tracks Expectations : Have a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital, growing personal relationship with Him Have a commitment to the mission, vision and leadership of Grace Church Have a heart for the spiritual growth of those in the congregation and the worship ministry. Have a solid personal prayer and worship life Have a commitment to moral purity Be Self-motivated Be a team player with a positive attitude and a teachable heart Be open to changing and shifting responsibilities as the ministry grows and develops Be flexible and make last minute decisions Display a proficiency in playing piano or guitar with the ability to lead while playing Be a quality vocalist with the ability to lead a congregation in song Be an intentional learner Have a relational style of leadership and ministry Stay familiar with newest worship songs
