Job Description: The Worship Pastor will engage the community at our worship gatherings with creative and quality music that invites people to give themselves more fully to God's mission in the world.
The Worship Pastor is the staff member responsible for planning and coordinating all musical and creative elements of worship gatherings, leading music for worship in Sunday morning gatherings, rehearsing and shepherding Bright City's musical and creative volunteer teams.
The Worship Pastor must see their work as essential to discipling our community, especially through music, scripture and proclamation.

Job Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 2 years leading worship in a local church context (does not have to be main stage--can be student ministry, etc).
Knowledge, skills, and gifts:
Established worship leading skills as a musician and vocalist
Comfortable and confident in speaking, praying and leading in worship
Effective stage presence
Able to communicate a "philosophy of worship"
Strong leadership skills; pastoral heart and love for people; ability to lead a team of volunteers and work effectively with staff and leadership teams
Proficient in Propresenter and knowledgeable of sound equipment and mixing sound
