Job Summary: This position is a full-time office support staff position providing office management, administrative and clerical support to the Pastoral staff and volunteers. The position reports to the Senior Pastor. Responsibilities: The candidate provides overall administrative support for the church office and all church ministries. The candidate will oversee office administration; perform desktop publishing, including graphics production; coordinate and update all church communications and social media including, but not limited to, website, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Financial responsibilities to include accounts receivable and payable, contribution reports, and QuickBooks data entry. Office administrative functions include maintaining the church membership database; producing the weekly bulletin; coordinating and maintaining the church calendar, oversight of building use, maintaining the office supply inventory to include purchase and replenishment of office supplies. S/he adheres to all church policies, procedures, and ethics codes. Other duties as assigned.  

Job Qualifications:

Primary Qualifications: Highly organized with excellent administrative and time management abilities. Must be a self-starter capable of working independently with minimum supervision. Must be proficient with computer systems and knowledgeable of Information Technology. Proficiency with general office equipment. Proficiency with MS Office (i.e., Word, Publisher, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Must be proficient with QuickBooks online Proficiency with other graphics software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc., is a plus). Highly proficient with social media; working knowledge of the Internet and excellent research skills. Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Eligibility to work in the U.S. and the ability to pass a background check. A committed Christian and a regular participant in the life of a local church.
