Director of Worship Arts and Media Production Purpose Lead a team who skillfully combines biblical truth with music to magnify and celebrate the Lord ushering the gathered church into God's presence. Also lead a team who tells the story of what God is doing in and through Faith Church utilizing all our media platforms. Duties Work closely with the Senior Pastor to develop weekly service plans that fit with the series theme. Implement all musical and creative elements of worship gatherings and other events during the week. Mentor and shepherd worship teams. Recruit new musicians and vocalists. Effectively manage a team of content creators (print, web, video, social media, etc.) in a manner that aligns our various communications venues. Work with ministry leaders to generate media content for upcoming events and to celebrate events after they happen. Serve as the church's brand manager and marketer, responsible for safeguarding and promoting how the church's brand is portrayed in all communications pieces. Other Expectations Must be of Godly character, filled with the Spirit and evidencing the fruit of the Spirit. Must agree with our Vision, Values and Statement of Faith. Established worship leader with skills as a musician (guitar and vocalist). Has a strong stage presence. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Bible, especially as it applies to worship. Possess' a pastoral heart and love for people; ability to lead a team of volunteers and work effectively with staff and leadership teams. Excellent communicator (both written and verbal) and creative graphic designer. Strong attention to detail. Intermediate knowledge of online advertising platforms. An understanding of modern branding techniques. Ability to proofread content and check for both theological and grammatical errors as needed. Growing Christian faith and character.
