Community Church of Gunnison, located in Gunnison, Colorado, is seeking an experienced pastor with a gift for preaching and teaching the Word of God to become the next senior pastor at Community Church. Community Church is a non-denominational, Bible-based church with a diverse group of members and regular attendees. The Community Church exists to bring God glory, to equip servants of Jesus Christ, and to share God's love, so that the whole world may know Him. Gunnison, Colorado is located about four hours southwest of Denver and approximately three hours from Colorado Springs. It is a mountain community of about 6,500 people, with a wide variety of outdoor and cultural activities. It is also home to Western State Colorado University. The ideal candidate has a degree from an accredited seminary and ministry experience. In addition to a gift for preaching the Word of God, desired qualities for the next pastor of Community Church include: a passion for Jesus, a sense of calling to serve this congregation, skills in church administration, and ability to work with others both within the church and greater community. Total salary package will be between $60,000 and $80,000 based upon education and experience. The vacancy is immediate and will be filled when God's called servant is chosen.
