Due to the retirement of our current pastor, New Hope Community Church is prayerfully seeking a pastor. One who is committed to living and serving in a manner consistent with the standard set forth in scripture of such a leader.

We are looking for a pastor that:
Meets the Biblical qualifications in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9
is Biblically born again from above
Maintains accessibility to the people of the church
Provides regular, biblical preaching and teaching that feeds believers, calls them to commitment to Christ, and equips them for effective spiritual life and ministry.
Possesses strong communication skills, both in one-on-one and group settings.
On a personal level, uses godly values as a guide when making decisions.
Provides a personal example for spiritual development
Demonstrates love of God, God's Word and God's people
Uses the Bible/original text as the basis for preaching and teaching
Provides visionary leadership to the church

The pastor is a non-voting member of the Church Board and is accountable to the church for the performance of his duties as pastor and for his own spiritual life and personal conduct.
