Shelter Cove Community Church is looking for a Worship Pastor to join their Experience Team. Shelter Cove is in Modesto, California and is in the middle of a season of Growth. This key position will help further the mission of the church as they seek an impact in their community.

The ideal candidate will have context in a larger church environment (2000+). They will be the chief supporter of all the capable volunteer and staff worship leaders, constantly looking for the opportunity for others to lead to their full capacity. This will include intentional discipleship both spiritually and musically off the platform. The Worship Pastor will surround themselves with people they are constantly pouring on and into. Experience leading a staff over worship in youth and Children's Ministry is a plus. They should also be versed in production and lighting to be able to come alongside the production staff at Shelter Cove. They must be comfortable leading all generations of worship, with an emphasis on modern worship trends, but the ability to connect with and lead a more traditional crowd and service. Experience in songwriting and album production is welcome.

A bachelor's degree in music or related degree is beneficial. A masters or higher degree in musical or theological studies is preferred. Practical experience in worship related programs and software such as Planning Center Online, Ableton, and Mainstage are a must.
