Job Description: Christian Educator
STATUS: Full-Time
General Duties:
A. Coordinates all Education programs in consultation with the discipleship Pastor and discipleship Elders.
B. The CE visions, plans, implements, and leads a comprehensive, theologically based Christian education program, including an instructional program that is sequential and inclusive from preschool through 12th grade ministries.
C. Recruit, train, and motivate volunteers and lay leaders to participate.
D. Serve as liaison between neighborhood families, schools and the programs of the Church Summer Programs: develop, implement, organize.
E. Adult Special Programs: coordinate workshops, seminars, Bible study, retreats, mission trips and other relevant programs.
F. Adult Sunday School & Bible Studies: provide leadership and serve as an educational resource for staff and lay leaders.
G. Manages, coordinates and runs the Children's ministry.
Oversees and recruits volunteers and teachers to lead and teach the nursery, children's Sunday school and the midweek Logos program.
periodically teaches Sunday, and/or mid-week classes of interest.
assists in implementing Children's Moment during Sunday Worship.
prepares and administer the Christian Education & Children budget.
H. Reports directly to the associate pastor.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Christian education or related field.
Seasoned directorship, with at least 2 years of experience in Christian Masters Degree in Education and or;
Certified Christian Educator Degree
