Originally founded in 1887, the 132 year old church is an active part of the history in Punta Gorda. We currently offer two traditional worship services, with one contemporary service offering a relaxed worship environment for all ages. Our music department has a traditional Chancel Choir and contemporary praise team and band. We utilize Facebook Live for streaming our contemporary service every week, with hopes to expand to traditional services in the future. Ministries include Illuminate Children's ministry, United 4 Him Youth Group, United Christian Women and United Methodist Men, as well as a variety of small groups, Bible Studies and community outreach programs. Our facilities include our 132 year old historic Sanctuary and a multipurpose Life Center. Our Sanctuary is known for its beautiful stained glass windows and wood floors, which provides a beautiful venue for weddings, our local symphony and classical concert events.
