Music DirectorCalvary Lutheran Church - Modesto Job Description: We are looking for a talented faithful Christian servant who can lead our music ministry. You would be working with our contemporary singing group planning/rehearsing the worship music for our contemporary service (10am Sunday). Every fifth Sunday we do a traditional liturgical service for which you would provide music and hymns.
We are looking for someone with good keyboard (piano) skills, who sees this position as a calling from God and is willing to agree with our mission statement and beliefs (found online). The Church also has a pipe organ, and although playing this instrument is not required, our congregation is willing to provide an opportunity to study and upgrade skills in this area.
