Secretary/Director of Financial ServicesSoutheast Baptist Church Job Description: The position of Secretary/Director of Financial Services requires an individual with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, knowledge of computer and office equipment, an ability to accurately handle financial transactions and the ability to maintain confidentiality while handling the business affairs of the church. Experience with some type of financial management software, like ACS, is preferred but not required.
Duties include but are not limited to: * General office duties, ie. answering phones, handling mail, receiving guests, etc. * Maintaining and updating church records, calendar, etc. * Assisting in maintaining the church website and handling printed publications like the bulletin, Wednesday Prayer List, monthly newsletter, etc. * Handling financial transactions such as accounts payable, payroll, deposits, tax documents, etc.
