Purpose of Position:
The purpose of the position of Youth Pastor is to help fulfill the mission and vision of Calvary Bible Church, specifically as it relates to the youth of the church (Jr. Hi – Sr. Hi.).

Prerequisites:
1. Fulfillment of the Biblical qualifications for the office of Elder
I Timothy 3:1-7 & I Titus 1:6-9
2. Be in agreement with the Doctrinal Statement of Calvary Bible Church and be submissive to the church's constitution
3. Should not hold to a strict Calvinistic position on the doctrine of election
4. Been baptized by immersion
5. Bible College or Seminary graduate
6. Experience in youth ministry
7. Musical ability would be a plus

Responsibilities/duties:
1. Youth Ministry.
He will be responsible for the youth program of Calvary Bible Church (Jr. Hi. – Sr. Hi.)
He will be actively involved in teaching the youth and the training of youth staff to assist him in this ministry

2. Pastoral Ministry.
He will maintain a visitation ministry with the youth/families of the church
He will do parent/teen counseling as needed
He will preach at the direction of the Senior Pastor and in accordance with his gifts
He will assist in the worship services at the direction of the Senior Pastor
