Job Description:
All Saints Anglican Church in Charlotte North Carolina is searching for a full-time Director of Youth and Family Ministries. We are looking for a person who has passion and skill for youth ministry, a vibrant relationship with God and mature relationships with God’s people.
This person must have a joyful embrace of three stream ministry:
+Biblical/evangelical- We affirm the ultimate authority of scripture and salvation by grace alone;
+Sacramental/liturgical-We affirm the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Eucharist as_noemailmanded by Christ and necessary for obedient discipleship. We receive the Great Tradition of the undivided Church as a deep source of strength and unity;
+Spirit filled-We affirm the gift of the Holy Spirit in salvation, sanctification and in the present ministry of the Church.
All Saints is blessed with a Middle School group (30+) and Senior High group (8+). This person will, under the Rector’s leadership, have oversight of the youth ministry (including Sunday School) and ministry to strengthen families. We are looking for a theologically orthodox person (male or female, lay or ordained) who has Christ-like character, a strong teaching gift, zeal for the lost, ability to relate well with youth and their families and a servant’s heart. Some knowledge or experience with special needs youth is a plus.
