The Director of Blended Worship position has been filled. We are currently seeking to fill the part time Director of Music for Contemporary Worship Service.
Summary:
Wheaton Evangelical Free Church is looking for a Part Time experienced, inviting, creative person to prepare, direct, and lead the Contemporary Sunday morning worship service.
Responsibilities:
The Director will be responsible for recruiting, training, and encouraging a team of instrumentalists, vocalists and a technical support team in order to create a cohesive and spiritually moving worship service.
Responsibilities of the Contemporary Worship Director will include scheduling and oversight of worship team and employ media and technology to support and enhance contemporary worship.
Qualifications:
The candidate should possess strong guitar and/or piano and vocal skills. In addition the Contemporary Worship Director will have a general knowledge of contemporary instruments, vocals and sound equipment.
The Candidate will have an authentic and growing relationship with Jesus Christ; and be willing to affirm the doctrinal statement of WEFC. Bachelor's Degree and previous experience leading a worship service is preferred. Familiarity with lyric presentation, visual media and graphics software and other media a plus.
Position:
