Connections Pastor Job - New Community Church, Muskogee, Oklahoma

1. Responsible for the overall health and growth of our small group ministry. The goal is to connect increasing numbers of people in small groups where they will experience meaningful relationships, care and growth.

Develop and implement an ongoing strategy for getting new people into small groups
Start more groups
Refine structure and processes for moving people into and out of our Next Step membership group.
Research and acquire curriculum
Recruit, resource, equip, train, mentor, inspire, and encourage small group leaders.
Ensure that members and being cared for (hospital visits, prayer chain,_noemailmunication, etc...)
Develop a culture of reproduction

2. Responsible for getting people connected in ministry

Develop and lead a process that helps people discover their gifts and actually get involved in ministry
Work with other ministry leaders to develop a process for recruiting volunteers

3. Responsible for First Impressions Ministry

Ensure that we make an excellent first impression on our guests
Oversee greeters, users, and hosts on Sunday morning
Oversee follow up of guests

The salary for this position would depend on whether we hire full time or part time, as we are open to either option.
