Job Description:

Conway UMC is looking for a motivated, energetic, spirit-filled person to develop and coordinate an effective, contemporary music program and provide leadership and supervision of professionals and volunteers involved in this ministry.  This is a part-time position with primary responsibility for the music ministry within our 11 AM worship service.

Responsibilities also include:
Coordinate and lead music rehearsals;
Delegation of these duties as appropriate in coordination with the Traditional
(8:30 worship service) Music Director
Lead worship with the praise band and vocalists at the Contemporary service
Coordinate with CUMC's Traditional Music Director on matters affecting CUMC's musical programs such as Easter and Christmas cantatas

Position Qualifications:
Experience in leading creative and innovative worship
Solo performance experience
Ability to perform and lead worship from guitar, keyboard, or both
Leadership ability, ability to work with and inspire volunteers
Able to articulate the Gospel with enthusiasm
A deep personal faith in Jesus Christ
Passionate about leading people in worship
Familiar with modern/current worship music
