Job Description:

United Methodist Church in South G_noemailia seeks full time, dynamic contemporary worship pastor. The church has three worship services, two traditional and one contemporary. The search is for a leader for the contemporary service. The position would be for leadership and worship, development of band, planning the worship, overseeing the sound and lights and all associated activities for the contemporary service including but not limited to volunteer coordination. Other responsibilities of the job will be based on the gifts of the applicant. Graphic Arts Experience is a plus. It is our desire to have a worship pastor who is involved in the life of the church more than just the leading of worship on the weekend.

Qualifications:

Experienced worship leaders, able to drive contemporary worship, passionate about faith and worship. Ability to recruit and develop band/worship team members, knowledge of lights, audio, and elements of worship. Other abilities (youth, missions, graphic arts, technology) will be considered as additional areas of ministry in addition to worship leader.
