Job Description:

First United Methodist Church of Vandalia is looking for a full-time youth ministries director. We have a vibrant youth group currently, averaging 50 Junior and Senior High youth on Wednesday nights at our Family Life Center. The director shall oversee this ministry and the volunteer group of leaders; develop ministries that connect with older youth outside of Wednesday nights, be visible in the_noemailmunity connecting with youth, and support the other ministries of the church. Salary is_noemailmensurate with starting teacher salary and includes health insurance.  

About First United Methodist Church:

First United Methodist Church is a traditional, Wesleyan congregation. Our Wednesday night youth ministry reaches into the community, many of the youth are not attending a church on Sunday mornings. This program is strong and simply needs continued leadership and direction. 

Qualifications:

Experience with youth ministry, Christian degree preferable
