We are seeking the person who has the heart of a pastor (shepherd) versus just a leader. We believe great leadership can be taught to one who has a pastor's heart. When the pastor's heart touches the people's heart we see fulfillment of our vision: PEOPLE REACHING PEOPLE THROUGH PEOPLE WITH THE LOVE OF JESUS CHRIST! Through your personal experience you will lead your team and the people into an atmosphere to experience the presence and power of Jesus which leads to life transformation.

Our team dynamic is different than most positions as we have an open office concept where we share a space that is open and no one personally has their own office (there are places for private meetings, etc). In this way we are in constant crosstalk, sharing ideas, assisting and it prevents us from building barriers or our own little islands. We all pitch in where needed to serve other's ministries as well as stay in our own ministry lanes. This has created a unique atmosphere of teamwork and unity that is very special.

Our church is 29 years old and has been debt free for 15 plus years with a minimum of six months operating capital in savings in case a tragedy strikes (for example like the pandemic) and we are prepared to operate without it having any negative affects upon our staff or ministries of the church. We as a church has a great reputation in North Central Missouri, USA and around the world as our Dream Center is literally a "warehouse to the world."
The Moberly Community has a population of 13,000 plus within a 35-mile drive to Columbia, Missouri, (home of the University of Missouri) and centrally located between St Louis and Kansas City, Missouri, which is a very affordable community to live in.

The specific opportunities of our Worship Pastor include but are not limited to:

Recruitment and pastoral leadership of the musicians, vocalists, and tech teams.
The POC for Sunday Service planning.
Song Selection.
Creative outflow with the formulation of service slides, announcement slides, video production/research.
Other responsibilities as your personal gifting and calling are known.

RELATIONSHIPS ARE OUR FOCUS in ministry through small groups and through our serve teams (Dream Team). We use both avenues to minister to our communities and our congregation weekly and focus on making them stronger each week as we are blessed to be a blessing.
