Job Description: The Children's Director will oversee, plan, and implement the children's program.
Hours: Flexible Schedule of at least 20-25 hours per week
Sign On Bonus being offered
Job Responsibilities:
Plan and implement the children's program, including children's choir, children's Christmas program and Vacation Bible School experiences
Meet regularly with the Senior Pastor, Youth Director and GROW Committee for the approval of the children's program and to plan additional opportunities for the children throughout the year
Attend weekly staff meetings to be held on Tuesday mornings
Attend all church activities where children are involved (Wednesday Night, Sunday Morning, etc)
Perform other job related tasks as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications and Skills:
Teaching experience in a Christian environment (preferred)
familiarity and experience with age appropriate curriculum as well as music and performance materials (preferred)
Relational and communication skills to enhance successful interaction with children, their parents, the church staff and church congregation
Strong leadership and motivational skills
Must demonstrate a desire to deepen the children's worship experience and understanding of God
An undergraduate degree in a related are, equivalent training, or enrollment in a course of study leading to such a degree (preferred)
