Job Description:

Weddington United Methodist Church, a 4,000+ member congregation in the south Charlotte area, is seeking two fulltime Youth Ministry Associates – one position to focus on high school aged youth. The other will focus on middle school. Responsibilities will include: planning, executing, and coordinating youth activities for age level assigned including, Sunday morning classes, Sunday night gatherings, Wednesday studies, retreats, mission trips and special events; Recruiting, equipping, and empowering adult youth leaders; working closely with Youth Pastor and other WUMC staff and volunteers to develop and implement a vision and strategy for overall youth ministry.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with experience in Youth Ministry in a church setting.
A Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
Experience developing Biblical content relevant to youth and adults
A dynamic and engaging_noemailmunicator to both youth and adults
