Job Description:
This is a senior position reporting to the Senior Pastor.
The Business Administrator coordinates and performs many activities in the areas of financial management, personnel management, facilities management, and risk management, and oversees the operations of the office.
The Business Administrator supervises a full time Administrative Assistant, a full time maintenance employee, and a part time Accountant.
The Business Administrator provides assistance to and receives guidance from several_noemailmittees and the Treasurer; all volunteers.

About Olivet Baptist Church:
Olivet Baptist Church is the first southern baptist church of Honolulu, Hawaii. Our sanctuary seats over 450. We have a blended worship service in the sanctuary and simultaneously a contemporary service in our educational building on Sunday mornings. We have a weekday preschool and other ministry opportunities, such as a food pantry for those less fortunate. We have a Japanese speaking congregation. We are part of the Hawaii Pacific Baptist Convention.
Qualifications:
- College degree in Business, preferably with a major in Accounting. Otherwise, work experience that demonstrates a good understanding of accounting and financial reporting.
- At least five years of experience in the role of Office Manager, or similar supervisory role.
-Expected to share the church's beliefs and be actively involved in its ministry.
-Effective work experience in a Christian organization is desirable.
