Job Description:

First (Scots) Presbyterian Church, PC (USA), located in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, is seeking an industrious and dynamic individual to serve in the full time position of Church Administrator. First (Scots), established in 1731, has a vibrant history and a current congregation of 1,400.

The Church Administrator is the team leader for administration and facilities at First (Scots) with teammates in administration, facility, and fiscal management. Qualified candidates for the position of Church Administrator should have a strong background in business administration, personnel management, and in organizational budgets and financial matters. The Church Administrator manages a macro view of these areas, ensuring that the administrative and facility staff enable the congregation's strategic goals. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a collaborative and thoughtful leadership style that empowers all team members to do their best work.

Job Requirements:
A four year degree is preferred, but not required.
Experience in church or other non-profit administration/management is preferred, but not required.
Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, EXCEL, Publisher, etc.), ADP, ACS, REALM Adobe and CANVA is preferred.
