Job Description:
We seek a Director of Children & Family Ministry who is called to serve children from birth through sixth grade + their families. The candidate would evidence a contagious enthusiasm for Christ + children with proven gifts of_noemailanization, administration +_noemailmunication (oral + written). The candidate demonstrates deep Wesleyan theological grounding + gifts of leadership. The Director of Children & Family Ministry will oversee,_noemailanize, + implement ministry to, with + alongside children, their adult leaders, parents, + guardians to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. An effective Director of Children & Family Ministry will equip + empower children of the church +_noemailmunity to understand that they are loved by God, called by God, + equipped by God as disciples of Jesus Christ to have the hands + hearts of a servant.
Position requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience + a minimum of 3 years of experience in ministry with children. A degree in Education, Christian Education, or a related field is preferred. Bilingual skills (English, Spanish) are r_noemailmended.
