About the Job:
We are looking for a pastor who is at ease and excited about the future of digital ministry while enjoying the setting of small-town, rural Illinois with its low cost of living, friendly atmosphere and community relationships.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
Worship service including a children's message
Bible Study
Nurturing the faith of our church family
Working collaboratively with our church's vision of ministry
Moderating Session meetings
Conducting weddings and funerals as needed
Pastoral care
Counseling as needed
Home and hospital visits
Loving us through the messiness of our lives
Nurturing their own spiritual growth through continuing education and adequate Sabbath time
Open to participating in local ministerial association

We are located in historic Palestine, Illinois - the middle of everywhere - with a beautiful sanctuary and manse that is within walking distance to the schools, post office, market, pharmacy and Main Street.

Our church is a delightful and resilient congregation of approximately 50 members. We provide in-person services and live online broadcasts, along with Sunday school classes. We are in search of a pastor who resonates with the close-knit atmosphere of our rural community and desires to make Palestine their home.
