Lead Pastor – Warehouse Church, Prestonsburg, Kentucky
Is God calling you to be a full-time lead pastor in Eastern Kentucky? Do you have a heart for growing Christian community? Are you excited to work with a leadership team to help more people experience transforming relationships through Jesus Christ? Can you think outside the walls in finding ways to introduce Jesus to the 90% (31,500) of people in our county who do not attend church and likely do not have a relationship with Him?

We are not church as usual. Our goal is to provide opportunities and environments for people to worship Jesus, learn and grow in spiritual development, and serve outside the walls of our building. We want to maintain a culture where all kinds of people feel expected and accepted. We are growing and attracting a lot of young families. Are you called to lead efforts to establish relevant church-based ministries in a rural area? Do you want to provide leadership to a dedicated group of volunteers? Is it compelling for you to work within an established team leadership structure?
What You'll Actually Be Doing:
Serve as head of the Executive Leadership Team coordinating the strategic plan that supports the church's mission.
Provide spirit-led & culturally-relevant preaching from Scripture.
Communicate vision and motivate congregation to actively support and participate in the church's mission/vision and values.
Lead discipleship and spiritual transformation efforts.
Minister to the spiritual needs of the congregation, in cooperation with Groups.
Lead the church outside the four walls of building into the community.
Collaborate with leadership teams to make strategic decisions regarding ministries and operations.

A growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ.
Called and gifted, to pastor and lead a growing church.
Ability to effectively communicate Scripture.
Strong organizational/administrative skills.
Flexible, self-motivated, tough-skinned, tender-hearted.
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work, lead, and make decisions in a team setting.
Bachelor's Degree, Ministerial Degree, or equivalent experience.
Passion for developing new leaders and helping people serve in their area of gifting.
