Job Description:
Principle Function
The Minister of Students is responsible to the Senior Pastor for planning, conducting, and evaluating a comprehensive ministry for students 6th-12th grade.
Responsibilities
· Plan, organize, conduct, and evaluate a comprehensive Student Ministry for students 6th-12th grade including:
o Sunday School
o Community Groups
o Weeknight Worship service including in-depth Bible study
o Special projects such as retreats, camps, and mission trips
o Ongoing student visitation program to visit prospects and absentees
· Involve himself in the local schools (Middle/High School) through whatever means available (FCA, Substitute Teaching, etc.)
· Plan, organize, and evaluate a Student Worship Team.
· Establish policies to recruit and evaluate Student Ministry Leadership including parents and students.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor.

About Lascassas Baptist Church:
Lascassas Baptist Church was founded in the late 1800's. It is a multi-generational family church that currently averages around 200 on Sunday Morning. Our Student Ministry currently averages 15-20 students. We are located in a county that has multiple high schools and a population of over 300,000 that is projected to double in the next 10-15 years.

Requirements
College – Bachelor's Degree
Seminary – Not required
Experience – 3-5 Years of paid Student Ministry Experience
Salary - $50,000-$60,000 per year. Pay will be based upon experience and education. This amount does not include any additional benefits (insurance, retirement, etc). These can be funded by the Minister out of that salary amount.
