An applicant must be licensed and ordained as a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and be baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost according to Acts 2:4 and Acts 2:38. The applicant must be able to edify congregants through the preaching of God's word.

The responsibilities of the Pastor shall include but are not limited to:

Meet with the Church Diaconate (Deacons, Deaconess, Trustees) on a regular basis;
Preside over Church business meetings;
Supervise, or delegate the supervision all employees;
Administer the Sacraments of Holy Communion;
Perform Baptisms;
Conduct home-going services, pre-marital counseling, and marriage ceremonies;
Participate in church sponsored activities; and
Teach Bible Study.

The applicant must be personable, know church protocol, provide pastoral care and counseling, and support ministries that meet the needs of every age.

The Pastor shall serve as the Administrator and Manager of the Church and will be recognized as the final authority in all spiritual matters.

Experience:
Applicants must possess a ministerial license and certificate of ordination of the Baptist Denomination.

Must possess at least five (5) years of demonstrated excellent leadership, management, and administrative skills.

Previous experience developing and working with youth programs.

Previous experience serving as an Assistant Pastor or Pastor preferred.
