Job Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pastor. The Pastor will be responsible for leading worship services, preaching sermons, providing pastoral care, and overseeing discipleship programs.
Qualifications:
- Pastoring and Pastoral care skills
- Deep understand of and appreciation for the Bible
- Experience with providing spiritual guidance and counseling
- Ability to create and implement discipleship programs
- Excellent_noemailmunication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Theology, Divinity, or related field
- Ordination or certification from a recognized religious institution is preferred
Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include experience leading worship services, and experience working in diverse_noemailmunities.

About Carthage Community Church:
We are seeking a Senior Pastor because our pastor of 28 years retired in December of 2024. Located in Carthage, Indiana, a rural community in Rush County Indiana. In 2014 Our church broke away from the United Methodist Church and is now a Community Church. We have an average attendance of 65 people during our Sunday morning worship service. We have three adult and two children's Sunday School classes. We were blessed with a building that was a former elementary school, therefore we have many unique features that help us reach out to our local community. We serve an average of 45 families twice a month at our food panty and Lydia's Closet, our clothing distribution . We have an Awana program that disciples children. Our gymnasium is open weekly for basketball and pickle ball. We have a weekly Women's Prayer Fellowship and a weekly Men's Breakfast on Saturday mornings.

Qualifications:
-Must be willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations.
-Minimum bachelors degree preferred
