Primera Iglesia Bautista (PIB) de Las Cruces is in search of a pastor
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to provide Bible-based instruction and discipleship
Be involved in pastoral care ministries for the congregation of PIB
To provide supervision to PIB's ministries and provide support to its leaders
To plan and initiate a revitalization process of PIB
To monitor spiritual development and ministries of PIB
Identify, develop and instruct leaders
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Evangelical Baptist in full agreement with Southern Baptist Convention's Baptist Faith and Message statement, with minimum 5 year pastoral experience
Experience in revitalization of churches
Pastoral education from a Southern Baptist seminary, with extensive biblical knowledge and interpretation and ordained to the ministry
English/Spanish bilingual, with ability to preach in both languages simultaneously
Able to work in the United States
SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS
Administration of PIB alongside church council, administer church's ordinances, officiate weddings, funerals, etc.
Excellent and effective communication skills
Able to establish a vision for the future of PIB
Possess a servant's heart. Able to provide family and marriage counseling
Basic computer skills (drafting documents, email, Google Apps/Microsoft Office suite)
