Are you the person God has prepared for FPC Mesa? We do not know what gifts and talents God has blessed you with, and that you have cultivated, but we are excited to learn. Our congregation is blessed with age and experience; we look forward to collaborating with you to develop a plan to become the church God is leading us to be. We believe God is calling someone to join us, to inspire both young and old and build His Kingdom in Mesa – is that "someone" you?
About First Presbyterian Church of Mesa:
FPC was established in 1947 and is in downtown Mesa which is part of the Phoenix metropolitan area. Our four-acre campus includes a beautiful sanctuary with its pipe organ, three large multipurpose buildings and ample parking. Our fellowship hall includes a performance stage and a commercial kitchen. Our facilities are home to two other congregations, a preschool and several mission outreach projects. Our recently completed mission study (link below) shares much more about us.
The pastor we seek has a deep faith in Christ, love for all people, effective communication skills, and adheres to Reformed theology and doctrine. The person will also preferably be an ordained Presbyterian minister, or a pastor with a background in the ELCA (Lutheran), Reformed Church in America, or United Church of Christ.
Used by churches all over the world to help teach worship, the Experiencing Worship study can help your worship team too.
Your team will learn why we worship and gain a better understanding of how to worship.
