Job Description:
We are looking for a man to live with his family in our community to be able to interact with the local population and events. We support missions and desire to reach our local community with the gospel. Therefore, he must have a similar goal. He must lead in preaching, teaching, and counseling as required. We are a theologically conservative, Bible believing, evangelical congregation. He must have similar convictions and be willing to be a part of the Evangelical Association. Our goal is to have a fulltime pastor, but the position may require at least some part-time work outside the church at this time. About Grace Evangelical Christian Church:
We are a small country church located outside of Harrisburg, PA. The church is located in beautiful Perry County, part of central Pennsylvania. Our history is rooted in the German Reformed traditions. We left the U.C.C. in 1998 because of doctrinal differences and joined the Evangelical Association of Reformed & Congregational Christian Churches (evangelicalassociation.org). Our worship is mostly traditional with piano and organ accompaniment. We are liturgical following somewhat in the German Reformed traditions.
