Our Church:

Bensalem Baptist Church (BBC) is an independent, doctrinally fundamental Bible believing church where Jesus is preeminent, people are loved, and the gospel of grace is central.  Bensalem Pennsylvania is a residential suburb conveniently located just outside the city of Philadelphia.  One of the greatest aspects of BBC is that of its friendly and welcoming atmosphere.  Come as you are.  No matter your social or spiritual background you will find a warm and welcoming spirit.  At BBC we enjoy Godly music with a blended worship style of rich hymns and stirring modern anthems.  Our services include practical teaching and preaching where you will learn the Bible, its application to you, the love of Jesus and His desire to have a personal relationship with you.  

The Candidate: 

BBC is looking for a man of God that meets the qualifications in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1, is a Bible College graduate, has a history of faithful ministry experience, and is a strong expository preacher with good hermeneutics and exegesis.  The man we are looking for has a passion to study and teach the Word of God, a love for God's people, and a desire to help our congregation grow both spiritually and through community outreach and evangelism.  We desire a pastor who holds the same convictions to what we believe the Bible teaches and that he is committed to the mission of BBC.

You'll need to have:

A love for God and God's people

A strong desire to study and preach the Word of God

4 year Pastoral Bible College Degree

3 or more years of Pastoral ministry experience

2 or more years of church budgetary experience

Even better if you have:

Advanced education and/or a seminary degree

Senior Pastoral experience

Biblical counseling experience

Church administration experience  

Salary Range:  $55,000-$65,000

Salary commensurate with education and experience
