Liberty Church Macon, located in South Bibb County in Macon, GA, has been preaching the gospel and ministering to our community continually since 1834. Throughout its history, Liberty has been a Methodist Church. However, in June 2022, Liberty disaffiliated from the UMC and now, as an independent, spirit-filled church, continues as a gospel-preaching, faith-filled-praying, discipleship-making, community-loving congregation. Our average Sunday morning attendance is 120.
Liberty already has in place a well-defined, successfully led, efficient administrative and ministerial structure. You'll find a supportive pastoral staff, experienced administrative council, conservative finance committee, and motivated evangelism and mission teams. Our congregation is ready to apply their skills, talents, and God-given abilities (both spiritual and natural) to further the Kingdom of God.

We're looking for a full-time pastor who has a heart for worship and local missions, engages with our community, is a servant leader who joyfully leads by example, and delegates with wisdom. Plus, someone who is willing to lovingly confront and oppose doctrine contrary to God's Word while teaching sound biblical principles.
