Job Description:
The Senior Pastor, as the team leader, will provide direction to the overall Ministry of the church.
Duties would include
- Facilitate the Deacons in setting spiritual direction and shepherding the congregation.
- Casts and communicates a clear vision for the church with reasonable objectives.
-Oversee the worship service and the educational and outreach efforts.
-Oversees and participates in the services of children dedication, believer's baptism, communion, church partnership, pastoral care, counseling, funerals, and weddings
- Present monthly reports at the Deacon board meetings
- Represents the church in local pastors groups and community organizations.
Ability to Preach and Teach the gospel in a way which makes it accessible to new people yet invites all to a growing maturity in faith, discipleship, and mission.

About Plevna First Baptist Church:
The First Baptist Church, located in Plevna Montana, a vibrant, healthy, financially sound body of believers is prayerfully seeking a Senior Pastor to lead and serve with us. We desire to become more mature in our walk with Christ and reach our community with the good news, leading them to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. We are an evangelical church with 50-80 members. We have an active Sunday school, Youth and AWANA outreach and a strong commitment to missions. Our new Senior Pastor will have a heart for small town and rural ministry.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts degree preferred, background and experience considered.
Ability to communicate concisely and clearly in written and verbal form.
Ability to recruit, motivate and involve others in planning, decision-making and implementation
