We are looking for a student pastor with a proven track record of fast growth through recruiting and equipping teams for ministry. Say goodbye to micro-management. The growth that we are experiencing has resulted in the current Connections Pastor promoted to Executive Pastor and the current Student Pastor promoted to Connections Pastor. The Student Pastor is a full-time opportunity, responsible for the ministry and discipleship of students in junior and senior high school. This role also carries the responsibility to reach out to the unchurched youth in the_noemailmunity, engage them with the gospel and involve them with the work of the church. This role is also vital to the recruitment of volunteers to serve inside the Student Ministry, especially leading small groups. The Student Pastor will be responsible for developing relationships with students, their parents, and adult leaders. This role will also be charged with structuring the overall ministry. We want this position to have the freedom to adapt the ministry to fit the gifts of the Pastor, but within our overall strategy of we love, we grow, we give, we go. 

About River Valley Christian Fellowship:

River Valley Christian Fellowship is a 15-year-old church, located just outside of Austin, that has never stopped acting like a church plant. Our founding Pastor is still here and the original vision of reaching young families and helping connect them to Jesus is what we are still passionate about today. We have an expanded vision of being intentionally multi-ethnic as we reach, help and connect our community to Jesus. We are poised for continued growth due to our fantastically friendly culture, prime campus location, and with our new campus expansion project that opened in December 2019. 

Qualifications:

Bible college degree; Masters degree preferred.
Pastoral ministry experience.
Ability to efficiently manage a ministry budget.
A growing Christian in faith and character.
A desire to teach and mentor youth in biblical truth.
Must be self-motivated to perform with little or no supervision at times.
