Job Description:
Grace Place Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, OK is prayerfully seeking a full-time Student Pastor who loves students and their families and is passionate about reaching and discipling them.
Vision for the student ministry and student pastor:
It is the dream of the student ministry of Grace Place, under the Lord's leadership, to mentor students who celebrate God's presence (worship); who can demonstrate God's love (ministry); who can_noemailmunicate God's Word (evangelism); who assimilate into God's family (fellowship); and who are developed as God's people (discipleship).
It is the responsibility of the student pastor to facilitate this vision. The intent will be that families are blessed, students are reached, lives are changed, and ministry is done with excellence.
Responsibilities include:
-Organizing & implementing a_noemailprehensive student ministry, including Grace Groups (i.e., Sunday school), Wednesday night ministries, camps, and other events & ministries
-Teaching students
-Partnering with and equipping parents in the discipleship of their students
-Leading & shepherding volunteers
-Attending students' events
-Coordinating ministry with the other pastors & staff

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree or substantial progress toward bachelor's degree is desired
-2 years of directly-related experience is desired
-Ability to teach
-Heart for students and their families
-Good, biblical "people skills"
