Job Description:
The purpose of the worship leader is to provide overall leadership and support for the music ministry of Classic City Church.
Pay: $15-22 per hour (based on experience)
Job Description and responsibilities as worship leader: You will be contracted for 10-15 hours per week as the modern worship leader for Classic City Church.
1. Provides music leadership on a weekly basis for up to three regular worship gatherings.
2. Weekly worship meetings with Senior Pastor.
3. Organize Sunday volunteers and training new lay people for worship and AV.
4. Attends monthly staff meetings and participates in other meetings as able.
5. Selects music for Classic City gatherings and music groups.
6. Designs modern worship gatherings with Senior pastor.
7. Arranges for music leadership when not able to play at a service as scheduled.
8. Lead worship at weekend retreats and_noemailmunity events
9. Oversees technology and sound equipment.
10. Assists in selection of music for weddings and funerals as needed.
About Classic City Church :
Qualifications:
-Leader must be 18+ years of age and be able to pass a criminal background check.
-Must be reliable and punctual.
- Leader should be an active Christian with an ongoing relationship with Jesus.
- Leader should have administration, organization, and technology skills
