Job Description:

This position is a Part-Time position that could lead to full time - for a candidate who possesses desirable technology qualifications. This position works closely with the Lead Pastor in cultivating worship services and worship teams that lead the congregation in a multigenerational experience. With the right giftedness, this person could also focus the churches online presence; manage social media accounts, website, and manage streaming and recorded worship services. This position is responsible to prepare music and lead musicians in preparation for the Sunday services and all religious holidays pertaining to our church, and for choosing scripture and songs that engage the congregation and support the preaching of God's Word. This individual will schedule and coordinate all worship volunteers, while leading the volunteers to cultivate_noemailmunity among worship team volunteers through God honoring worship. They will also seek out congregants who are passionate about worship , recruit and train musicians, singers, and tech. volunteers. Part of the job is also to oversee, manage, and maintain musical, audio, and visual equipment in conjunction with tech volunteers, attend regular staff meetings, oversee and manage a worship budget, and Lead quarterly Worship Team Meetings. Responsibilities to manage the churches on-line presence would be further discussed within the interview process.

Qualifications:

Candidate should display: commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of your life and a knowledge of His Word. Have a heart for singing the Gospel, loving the local church, and proclaiming the name of Jesus. Be musically gifted at guitar, piano or keyboard, and vocals. Have an appreciation for current music, biblically centered lyrics, and hymn of the church's traditions. working knowledge of Media Shout and similar software pertaining to band backing etc. Leadership and people skills are important. Degree in worship arts, music, or Theology is a plus, but not required.
