JOB OVERVIEW:
Evident Life Church staff is charged with helping people encounter God’s presence, belong to His family, and Grow in His love. We are here to serve the Evident Life Church congregation as unto the Lord with the grace of Jesus and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. In this context and dependency on the Lord, while in submission to senior church leadership and Evident Life Church mission and vision, this role has the expectation of providing the chief visionary leadership and oversight to the youth & young adults ministry of Evident Life Church, while actively shepherding the youth, young adults, and volunteers and leaders in those ministries. This role will also provide general pastoral support to the congregation along with the rest of the Evident Life Church pastoral staff and fulfill various operational leadership and administrative duties as needed.

This role will also provide general pastoral support to the congregation along with the rest of the Evident Life Church pastoral staff and fulfill various operational leadership and administrative duties as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Shepherd and care for the youth and young adults of Evident Life Church
- Develop, execute, and maintain a clearly defined vision and strategy for discipleship within the youth (ages 11 - 18) & young Adults (ages 19 - 29) Ministry that works in conjunction with the overall vision and mission of Evident Life Church.
- Establish a regular Evident Life Church Young Adults gathering.
- Lead, recruit, train, develop, and care for volunteers in the Youth & Young Adults ministry.
- Equip and partner with the youth of Evident Life Church to reach out to unchurched youth in the_noemailmunity, engage them with the gospel, and involve them in the ministry of the church.
- Regularly preach and teach Bible-centric messages during Youth gatherings considering the full counsel of God’s Word and the spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental needs of the youth in our_noemailmunity, as well as regularly engaging approved volunteer teachers and speakers in the preaching and teaching at these gatherings.
- Partner with Students and Youth leaders to coordinate on and off-campus Youth gatherings and events including regular Sunday evening Youth services, off-campus service and outreach events, social gatherings/game nights, annual summer camp, etc.
- Develop and implement strategy for connections with parents concerning youth discipleship; working with the families to equip and empower parents/families to disciple their youth.
- Maintain and_noemailmunicate with students via official public Evident Life Church youth ministry social media and church app groups.
- Regularly report to the church’s leadership about developments in the youth and young adults ministry
- In consultation with other leaders and senior church leadership, develop an annual budget for the youth and young adult ministry and operate within the constraints of that budget.
- Work alongside the pastoral team to provide on-stage and off-stage pastoral leadership during weekly Sunday services including periodic preaching/teaching, baptisms,_noemailmunion, announcements, pre-service prayer, pre/post service connections with congregants, etc.
- Provide team leadership and administration for a Sunday service volunteer team.
- Regularly engage in weekly staff and corporate prayer meetings, including periodic leadership in meetings along with engaging Evident Life Youth and Young Adults in prayer meetings.
- Write and record a weekly video devotional that aids in Biblical discipleship and training for the Evident Life Church family.
- Serve as the Evident Life Church liaison and speaker coordinator for on-site Christian school (K – 5) Chapel services.
- Assist church staff with administration and updating of content in the Evident Life Church website, social media accounts, and church app.
- Participate in all required staff meetings, annual vision meetings, and retreats.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Aligned and agreed with Evident Life Mission/Vision statement, Beliefs statements, and Membership Ethics
- Born-again, servant-hearted Christian who is full of the Holy Spirit and celebrates the Biblical use of the Gifts of the Spirit
- Maintain an active Biblically-based lifestyle of prayer
- Humble and teachable attitude
- Team player mentality
- A genuine passion for Youth Ministry
- 3+ years of experience in Youth Ministry
- 3+ years of experience in Bible-based preaching/teaching
- Basic knowledge and use of MS Office Suite (email, spreadsheets, docs, file sharing, etc.)
- Basic knowledge and ability using various social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred Qualifications:
- Qualified Bible school or seminary studies
- Ability to lead musical worship/play an instrument.
- Digital graphic design skills
- Sports and outdoor activities leadership experience
