Youth Minister Job - Center Community Church, Plainfield, Indiana

Model and raise the value of a Christ-centered lifestyle within the youth of our church.
Build a growing Youth Ministries team to effectively reach the unchurched youth of the CCC immediate and extended_noemailmunities.
Collaborate with the church's staff in the creation of new ministries as needed to a_noemailplish the vision and mission of the church.
Establish strong relationships with the youth of our church, maximizing ministry impact in their lives.
Make and maintain positive relationships with congregation members in order to model what a healthy Christian family should be like.
Seek to integrate youth ministry into all phases of church life to create a culture that is intentionally intergenerational, striving to unite with and_noemailplement other church ministries.
Provide Christian counseling and spiritual direction to youth on an individual basis.
Maintain contact with students and parents, keeping them informed of ongoing activities. Keep parents updated on ministry strategies and plans in a way that encourages partnership and involvement.
Manage student fees and fund raising money for events and ministry/mission trips in collaboration with CCC finance_noemailmittee and staff.
Participate in staff meetings and Ministry and Council Committee meetings.
Support parents in effectively fulfilling their Christian parenting roles, in concert with other pastoral staff.
Help plan, develop, and implement all aspects of a balanced youth ministry in the areas of group building, worship, discipleship, mission, and outreach.
Leading middle and high school students to encourage their spiritual growth.
Work in collaboration with the Christian Education Committee.
Sharing program plans through social media.
Be an advocate for youth and educate the congregation about the hopes, concerns and needs of youth.
Recruit and train volunteers who work with youth in all aspects of youth ministry and ensure adequate volunteer support and adult to youth ratios.
Ensure that volunteer background checks are up to date and on file.
Create and/or coordinate curriculum, including Sunday lessons and Wednesday Night Children's class activities.
