ROLE

Provide spiritual direction, vision and focus to the Student Ministry at CBC

Oversee, recruit and develop a strong team of Student Ministry leaders

Participate in community events that open the door to influence for Christ in our community

Partner with other churches in the Ottawa area and beyond to grow and develop the ministry

The ideal candidate will have the following character and qualifications:

Evident relationship with Jesus Christ, a regular devotional and prayer life and a servant's heart

Excellent relational and communication skills

Innovative and creative thinker

A heart to reach the youth in our community and see youth grow in their faith in Christ

Experience supporting, mentoring and leading youth from a variety of backgrounds

3-5 years of experience working with youth in a church youth group ministry context or related field

Preferred:

A diploma or degree from a recognized Bible College or Seminary, or other relevant designations or degrees.
