Teaching & Discipleship Pastor
Job Description:
GENERAL OVERVIEW:
The teaching and discipleship reports to the Executive Pastor and oversees Small group ministry, a future school of ministry, provides pastoral leadership to our First Impression teams, along with preaching 8-12 times a year and assisting Pastor Heath with sermon series planning.
This is a multi-faceted and very demanding position. It will require someone who is a leader and a manager of both people and tasks. He or she must be highly motivated, be a self-starter, who thinks big-picture, and can manage details.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
-Discipleship (40%): Small Groups, Church Membership, Baptisms
-Teaching Pastor (30%): Preach 8-12 times a year
-School of Ministry (20%)
-First Impression Teams (10%)
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
-Fantastic written and verbal_noemailmunication skills
-Exceptional_noemailanizational skills with the ability to excel at details.
-Excellent people management and team coach skills
-A passion for the team, staff culture, and loyalty
-A willingness and openness to be pastored and coached

Heritage Church is an Assembly of God church in central Minnesota. In 2022 they are celebrating its 100-year anniversary as a church. It can be described as a multigenerational church and contemporary in worship style. The mission is about loving One More to Jesus and encouraging each other to grow. Qualifications:
The applicant should have their ministry credentials with the Assemblies of God. Also, qualified applications should have over 5 years of pastoral experience in a church of 500 or more.
