The Technical Director is responsible for leadership, growth and discipleship of our A Sound Vision Ministry. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations. Working with the Senior Pastor, fellow staff, and a wide range of volunteers, this person is responsible for leading and creating a dynamic Sunday experience on all campuses including audio, lighting, media and video. This individual will be knowledgeable of our mission, core values, ministry strategy, and will advance this mission, adhere to these values and implement these strategies in their ministry area. The Technical Director is responsible for making r_noemailmendations and implementing decisions within their designated authority in the design, development and facilitation of an effective program to reach and disciple volunteers in A Sound Vision. This individual is expected to contribute to the team spirit of the staff and congregation through fellowship, encouragement, cooperation, prayer, and other appropriate ways as he/she serves his/her Lord Jesus Christ.
Is growing in his/her walk with Christ through spending quality time in prayer (at least 1 hour per day) and in study and memorization of God's Word.
Meets the scriptural requirements of an elder outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 (though he/she may or may not serve as an elder).
Is a Participating Member at First Assembly of God.
Tithe in an accountable manner.
Be in a microchurch.
Displays Christian leadership by using credibility and capabilities to influence followers to pursue God's direction for their lives.
Evidences foundational spiritual qualities such as integrity, faithfulness,_noemailpassion, and grace.
Displays accountability to staff and the ministry of the church.
Evidences working knowledge of our mission, core values, and ministry strategy and is effective at aligning individual ministry goals to these directives. This includes understanding our policies and procedures.
Displays working knowledge of stewardship and demonstrates fiscal responsibility through proper planning and budgeting of ministry programs and initiatives.
Maintains effective_noemailmunication to ensure coordination and exchange of information for a_noemailplishing goals.
Fulfills any and all supervisory roles as directed or outlined in specific job responsibilities.
Maintains working hours as determined by the needs of ministry/position.
Attends staff meetings, retreats, and other church functions, as directed.
