Job Description:
This position is part time (20 hours/week)
$24k per year
Responsibilities:
Develop and coordinate youth and children's programs: fun activities, regular meetings, Bible studies, VBS, service and mission opportunities, retreats
Coordinate faith education (Sunday School) for children and youth to include obtaining volunteers and materials
Communicate regularly with the youth, parents, volunteers, church staff, and others
Assist pastor in planning worship as it relates to children and youth.
Manage fundraising activities and budget for youth programs
Coordinate youth participation in worship

Qualifications:
Looking for
Experience in working with youth and teens to include some experience with youth ministry
Personal faith, experience and background that is compatible with the Presbyterian Church (USA)
Strong skills communicating by both traditional and newer technologies to include social media.
Experience working with a staff member of a faith community.
Some theological training is preferred.
A love for God, respect for the church, a desire to grow in faith, and a deep appreciation for children.
Good organizational and group leadership skills.
Bachelor's degree or some college preferred.
