Scope:
20 hours/week with Sunday morning and potential weekday/evening programs. Reports directly to the Senior Pastor. Responsible for a team of Children's Ministry volunteer workers.

Responsibilities:
The CM Director will be responsible for designing and implementing a ministry that reaches out to the children in the church as well as to children in the wider community, including implementing and overseeing such programs as Sunday School, children's Bible studies, outreach events, and vacation bible school.

Teach and lead children into a deeper relationship with Jesus
Recruit, prepare, train, encourage, and motivate volunteers
Fulfill pastoral responsibilities for the children, including visiting and counseling
Handle administrative responsibility and policy development for budget, equipment, supplies, facilities, record keeping and safety

Effective Parent Education Skills
Ability to develop a budget and operate within an approved budget.
