Life Source Church is looking for an outgoing, talented individual with a strong commitment to Christ, to technical excellence, and a heart for working with volunteers. As an integral member of our ministerial team, you will help change lives through the skillful use of audio/video/lighting and other technology. You will demonstrate an ability to oversee a media ministry with initiative and innovation, accomplish tasks efficiently, meeting key deadlines; while recruiting, training, coordinating, and ministering to volunteers with technical skills and gifts. The Director of Media and Technology will report directly to the Creative Arts/Worship Pastor, while working closely with the staff pastors, and other staff members.
The Director of Media and Technology will be responsible for four main areas:
Worship Production, Digital Asset Management and Communications, AV and IT Support, Equipment Management
Must have experience in the following areas:
GrandMA2 Lighting Ecosystem
Technology in a modern worship production environment
Recruiting, building, developing, and training teams
Managing setups and maintenance of digital instruments such as keyboards, multi-track playback devices and configurations weekly
Audio systems and large-format digital consoles
Live and streaming video environments; projectors, displays and video transmission
Planning Center & ProPresenter Online software
Dante Audio Network ranging from 10-64 channels at a time depending on application (i.e. mixing / recording in a DAW for web mix or post mixing)
Lighting in the context of worship services (Knowledge of theatrical, intelligent, LED and lighting for video preferred)
Audio/video/lighting signal flows and a strong ability to troubleshoot in all of these environments
The ideal candidate is highly tech-savvy, able to learn and master new technology quickly and thoroughly.
