Job Summary
Edgefield First Baptist Church is seeking a full-time Family Pastor to coordinate, supervise and lead a comprehensive program of ministry to children, youth, and their families.

Pay
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary, which also includes a three bedroom parsonage and monthly utilities.

Roles and Responsibilities
Children's and youth ministry
*In concert with the Senior Pastor and volunteers, organize and direct spiritually enriching
projects for the children's and youth ministry.
* Form, organize, train, and lead a children's and youth ministry committee to help oversee and
coordinate each area.
*Collaborate with the staff in regards to ministry-related areas
*Collaborate with and help promote outreach programs locally

Required qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years experience
* Proven experience with building and sustaining youth/children programs
*Meet and comply with the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message
*Possess excellent communication skills
* Mission minded
*Flexible, team player and team builder
* Active community member (or willing to become one)

Education
* A Master of Divinity is preferred; however, we will consider other degrees and education
