If you love kids and have experience with volunteer teams we would love to hear from you!
It is listed as part-time, but we are open to full-time.
This role will focus primarily on creating a safe and fun environment for Kids during weekend services. With flexible hours, you can work remotely--except on weekends of course!
You don't need to write curriculum, you don't need to play an instrument, you don't even need to be the best up-front communicator--what we really need is someone who can build and invest in a flourishing volunteer team and empower people to help prepare our kiddos for a life of trusting in the love of Jesus.
No need to invest a ton of time in extra things like VBS, etc. (unless you really want to then we'd love to hear about your vision for it!)
So what does a week look like?
MEETINGS (all currently on zoom)
A one hour All-Staff meeting.
A one hour Discipleship Team meeting.
A thirty minute one-on-one with your supervisor (Exec Director) over the phone to check in on how you're doing, what you're working on, and always an opportunity for you to provide and receive feedback.
*btw, I HATE inefficient, boring meetings. Sincerely, the person who runs the meetings.
VOLUNTEERS
Steward the Kid's volunteer scheduling and communication
Hold a 1x/month zoom call with all your kids volunteers to encourage them and talk logistics
Join our staff cadence of volunteer appreciation, celebration, etc.
WEEKENDS
We currently have one service at 10am.
Time commitment would be 8am - 12pm on Sundays.

I have worked at some of the biggest churches in the country.
I've studied organizational leadership from some of the best and led large ministries.
And...I grew up in Cashmere at THIS church, and am back to serve the community I love.

Job Responsibilities
Recruit, train, and lead volunteer leaders
Oversee weekly weekend ministry experience for Nursery, Pre-k, & K-6
Build a relational and effective Kids Ministry team
Facilitating child-care needs for some midweek activities as required
Plan and organize events and camps as needed.
All other duties as assigned

About Christ Center Cashmere:
We are a true community church in beautiful Central Washington. We have no aspirations to be a mega church (although we love those!) we really want to transform our community with the love of Jesus.
Our Lead Pastor, Steve, was the Youth Pastor for 28 years before taking the helm. We have a teaching team that includes four people from the staff (2 women). We believe in the power of healthy TEAMS.
Side note: we are completing a building project this year (opening weekend is September 19th) on a 30 acre piece of land in the heart of our community that is complete with a soccer field and a community garden. Both of these assets are connected with community functions outside of the church.
We like to keep ministry simple. Our mission as a church is to reach people for Jesus and to make disciples. We do this by helping others learn to Follow Jesus, Spend Time with God, Connect in Community, Live Generously, and Serve Others.

Experience in building and leading teams
Strong communicator
Ability to multi-task with high energy, strong interpersonal skills, and positive attitude
Team player and team builder with a focus on the vision of the whole church
Efficient time management skills, with the ability to balance numerous requirements.
Ability to learn quickly, multi-task and work independently as well as, part of a team.
Demonstrated ministry leadership experience in a large, multifaceted church.
Strong administrative, leadership and relational skills
