Job Description:
You will be responsible for:
*Being an integral part of our church and its Leadership Team.
*The "go to" person on Sunday mornings for all things Mission Kids.
*Actively engaging before, after and between both Sunday services, with volunteers, parents and students.
*You will be responsible to serve/work one service and attend/worship at the other service. We encourage and expect healthy church attendance.
*Currently our church offers children's programming during 2nd service.
*Working toward expansion of Kid's programming for 1st service.
*Creating a sustainable volunteer culture through recruiting, training, nurturing, and scheduling.
*Oversight of the "check in" experience. So first-time attendees as well as veterans of our ministry have the most positive first impression possible each and every Sunday.
*Champion of curriculum and content in all Kids classrooms from birth thru 6th grade (we currently use Gospel Project curriculum).
*Planning and oversight of several special events for kids throughout the year with the assistance of the Big Events Team for execution.
*Integral in keeping Kids Ministry on the radar of our existing church family as well as for newcomers who may not even know we have a Kids Ministry!
Compensation
The compensation package for this part-time position (15-20 hours per week) is competitive and negotiable, ($14-$20 per/hour) based on qualifications, experience, and an agreed upon scope of roles and responsibilities.
